The North Star, the mark of the Buxton Homecoming

The Power of Community
103rd Homecoming
Sept 4 to 7, 2026

Get involved

The Homecoming is run by people who live here and a great many who come back to help. There is room for more.

Volunteer

Setup starts the Thursday before and takedown runs the Tuesday after, and every hour in between needs hands. Gates, food, the kids' corner, parking, cleanup. Tell us when you are free and we will find you a job.

Vendors

The Marketplace runs Saturday and Monday, in and around the pavilion and the schoolyard. Monday is the busier of the two by a distance.

  • $25 · a table or a spot for the weekend
  • $10 · a Saturday-only spot
  • Food vendors · a $200 minimum donation

Stay in touch

We are putting together a list so we can tell you about next year's Homecoming before it happens, and share the photographs afterwards. A few emails a year, not more. Your address goes to the Buxton Museum and nowhere else, and you can ask us to drop it any time.

Sponsor the weekend

Businesses and families have kept this weekend going for a century. If you would like to be part of the 103rd, we would be glad to hear from you.
